Canyoning in the Blache Canyon – Ubaye Serre-Ponçon, Savines, Embrun

The La Blache canyon, at the entrance to the Ubaye Valley near Lake Serre-Ponçon, is a magnificent succession of south-facing waterfalls. It is a vertical canyon, perfect for discovering “mountain canyoning” and becoming autonomous in rappelling.
The route is divided into two parts: an easier upper section and a lower section with three more athletic and impressive rappels. The parking lot is located between the two sections, with a small, playful water basin, allowing you to stop halfway if needed.
Easily accessible from Savines-le-Lac, Embrun, Montclar, and Saint-Vincent-les-Forts, La Blache offers another way to experience canyoning: A sunny route where I teach you rappelling autonomy, essential for progressing to more challenging canyons.

Waterproof containers and picnic bags.
Shoe rental
If you don't have sneakers that go in the water, or if you prefer shoes specific to the activity, I can rent you canyon shoes for €7 a pair.
