The upper section is packed with aquatic obstacles and beautiful rappels, with a few possible escape routes. It is reserved for people in good physical condition who have at least some prior rappelling experience. This upper part, which is more aquatic, is the most accessible section of the Freissinières Oules Canyon.
The full descent of the Freissinières Oules Canyon is reserved for the most experienced. This route is intended for canyoners with solid experience, excellent physical condition, and a degree of autonomy in vertical and aquatic environments. The commitment, length, and power of the water make it one of the major descents in France, sought after by athletes from the Hautes-Alpes, Isère, and the entire region.

If you don't have sneakers that go in the water, or if you prefer shoes specific to the activity, I can rent you canyon shoes for €7 a pair.
